Tashkent Welcomes Back the Prestigious Eurasian Stars International Music Festival in 2025
The 7th edition of Eurasian Stars International Music Festival makes a grand comeback to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 2025, helmed by President Konstantin Ishkhanov and Artistic Director Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.
The Eurasian Stars International Music Festival, known as one of the most prestigious musical celebrations in the world, is lauded for celebrating the beauty of classical music through sensational orchestral evenings and melodious performances. Returning for its 7th annual edition in 2025, the festival will once again be held in the beautiful cultural capital of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Having played host to Eurasian Stars since 2021, Uzbekistan is infused with the fascinating history of the Great Silk Road that linked China with the Middle East and Europe. A cradle of culture, home to a majestic array of ancient sites and a rich heritage, this beguiling country is the perfect destination for self-exploration, with legendary figures like Alexander the Great, Marco Polo, and Genghis Khan previously journeying through its lands. Tashkent, in particular, is Central Asia's largest city, home to mesmerising traditional and modern architecture, gorgeous mosques, museums and art galleries telling the age-old story of the country, charming bazaars, and so much more. A rising travel destination that perfectly blends the ancient and the contemporary, it serves as the ideal location for a festival celebrating music, one of the oldest cultural activities in history.
The concert venue for Eurasian Stars 2025 will be Turkiston Palace Concert Hall, a central cultural and arts venue located on Alisher Navoi Street in the modern part of Tashkent. This iconic venue hosts various musical performances, state celebrations, and cultural events and has rightfully earned a reputation as the heart of the country's artistic expression. Established in 1993, it boasts two separate stages designed for seasonal performances: The Winter Hall, with a seating capacity of 896, is an intimate setting for official ceremonies and concerts. The Summer Amphitheater, on the other hand, accommodates up to 3,200 attendees and is a dynamic space mainly used for youth-focused events and modern music concerts.
